The Angel Project was created in frustration stemming from the countless almost but not quites that I have experienced as a young entrepreneur.
I have founded businesses on great ideas, developed pipelines of potential customers, signed letters of intent for services in excess of $500K, generated media interest, and spent months meeting with top notch venture capital firms and renowned angel groups nationwide to no significant end.
TAP Capital is an appeal to my peers - individuals who have groundbreaking ideas, have some of the resources in-place to get them off of the ground but simply have not been heard or been able to close because they are seemingly inexperienced or do not have the right team in place.
My response, in-kind, is to form a new king of angel fund, think of it as a privatized Business Plan Competition.
